Whos Who!

Hi, I'm Nigel Maine, the founder of Clearvoice Marketing and thanks for taking the time to find out a bit more...

I thought I'd mention a bit about me and the ideas behind Clearvoice as well as some of the values I hold dear.

I started in business back in 1987 having cut my teeth in the OEM industry (copiers and fax to everyone else!). I then got involved in office consultancy (including interiors (design and build) and technologies). I eventually settled in telecommunications consultancy managing various teams and contractors up and down the country.

As you can imagine during this time, every business experienced a variety of technologies, some good and some not so good! But the general concensus was that every year, it got better.

But it wasn't long before I started to realise that there was a growing devide between the technology available and the actual requirements of businesses i.e. the need for the technology to generate the income. In a way, it seemed that the sales people were becoming more distant from the actual needs of businesses simply because they were not being trained to understand how a business had to function with all these new systems. And when it came to integration, no-one knew where to start.

So you can probably see why I decided to create a company that addressed these various aspects:

  • Marketing - Finding the business
  • Design - Attracting the business
  • Technology - Managing the business process so you don't have to

Taking care of these areas allows business owners to work "on" their business instead of simply working "in" the business.

There are a few attributes about yours truly that I hope you will also find endearing. First and foremost, we're a christian family and being a father of four teenage children, we have our challenges (oh boy do we!), but if you're like me, I do actually like having a life with them being around and so I either work from home or at customers offices. Having 20Mb broadband helps too!

Like many parents, I gave in to pressure from all of them to get a dog, so now we have a three year old Beagle called Fraser. Even though they all promised to walk him, guess who takes him out. He's not up for a daily 5k run like me, but at least we both get some regular exercise.

As you're aware, we all know what we like and dislike. And I'd like to say that I like/love delivering top class customer service, I'd even go as far to say that I'm fanatical about it, simply because I know how I like to be treated. This is also combined with a consistent attitude towards attention to detail. Again, I know what I like and hopefully this is something that you do too.

I hope that this "About Us" section gives you a better feel for what Clearvoice is about and how we would approach your business.
